There are many health benefits of cranberries. Eat them!  Eat them for Thanksgiving as whole cranberry sauce and in baked goods.  They are tart, but in baked muffins or bread, their tartness is reduced due to the small amount of sugar in the muffin recipe.  Kids usually like muffins with berries in them and young children will more likely eat these than cranberry sauce that is more tart.

This means that cranberries contain antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties. They reduce free radical activity, which is oxidation, similar to rusting, of the aging body.  They protect the cells and DNA.  These are all good things!  Prevention of disease begins in infancy and childhood.  Infants (<1) and toddlers (1-3) can eat cooked cranberry sauce that is blenderized, because larger chunks of cranberries are a choking hazard.

Someone during the holidays will need first aid and you will be ready to treat them at home.  You will have on hand homeopathic remedies for first aid.  Burns, bruises, sprains, and strains all respond well to homeopathic remedies with reduction of symptoms and pain.  Suggestions for times when you need emergency care are discussed.   Homeopathy is great for children because you use natural products without side effects.

Many drug stores and health food stores carry homeopathic remedies.  The cost is very reasonable, less than $10 for a tube that lasts a long time in a cool, dry, dark place.  Brands include Boiron, Hyland’s, and Washington Homeopathic Products- which I use and you can check it out at: http://www.homeopathyworks.com/.  (I do not receive anything for including their web page. They are a very reputable company.)

Are your children showing these behaviors?
